The Cabin
Nestled in the rolling hills of Spicewood, Texas, over an acre and a half of rugged Texas Hill Country surround this secluded, intimate three-bedroom, two-bath log-cabin retreat, with towering, century-old oaks offering shelter and shade beneath. A looping drive circles the expanse of lawn, past the cabin’s front porch where the door beckons you to enter.
Admiring the porch rockers, ready and waiting for some relaxing rocktivity, you step inside, greeted with a spacious, open floor plan. The living area beckons with a leather loveseat and sofa for settling back to watch a little DirecTV on a 32” flat-screen LCD television. The fully-stocked kitchen awaits, ready to earn its keep as you rustle up some snacks to quell your hunger. And, when meal-time rolls around, the dining table will seat your family comfortably while you serve up your freshly prepared dishes.
A spacious, covered deck waits out back with comfy seats for lounging or loafing, leading to a large back yard, with picnic table, and fully fenced for your furry family to wander and explore.
Master Suite
The Master Suite includes a king-sized bed, a full chest-of-drawers, and a futon loveseat that converts into a queen-sized bed. The master bath includes a standard bath with shower and a double vanity, the laundry room adjoining at the back with plenty of space for hanging clothes.
Sleighbed Room
Furnished with a queen-sized bed and full chest-of-drawers, the Sleighbed Bedroom cradles you with comfort to rest your weary body as you end your unforgetable fun-filled days.
Nan’s Room
Furnished with a collection of antique family furniture, including a classic full-sized brass bed and free-standing armoire, Nan’s Room, in tribute to the memory of Jeff’s grandmother, wraps you in nostalgic coziness, reviving your body and spirits to tackle each brand-new day!

- Sleighbed Room - queen-sized bed with a memory-foam mattress (the most comfortable bed in the house in our judgement, but find out yourself)
- Nan’s Room - furnished with a full size bed and amoire, the window here also views the back yard
- Second bathroom with single vanity and tub/shower, directly outside Nan’s and Sleighbed rooms
- Extra blankets and towels
- Living room with large leather sofa bed, leather loveseat, additional seating, a 42” flat panel TV with Direct TV, board games, DVD video library, great puzzles
- Hair dryer
- Fully-equipped kitchen including electric oven/stove with kitchen island for four, refrigerator, microwave oven, coffee maker (12-cup), on-demand purified water, toaster, mixer, coffee grinder, dishwasher, glasses, dishes, complete cookware set, cooking utensils & dining utensils
